Department of Public Affairs
The Department's accomplishments include:
- hosting lunches for students with City Council members
- forming a committee with the City to examine the three person per house rule
- attending Neighborhood Council meetings, City Council meetings, Planning Commission meetings and more to maintain communication with City officials
- producing a newsletter for community members
- working on voter registration
- working on legislation to allow resident students to vote under State law
- giving presentations at each Board of Visitors meeting
The Department has built important working relationships with:

- The Neighborhood Council of Williamsburg
- State Legislators
- Virginia 21
- The College Republican Federation of Virginia
- The Virginia Young Democrats
- The Board of Visitors
